Google Nexus 5 is the new Google phone out.The Nexus 5 is the first pure Google smartphone.Stock Android is nice and Nexus devices have always been well made, but they have never been in the same league as flagship smartphones from the likes of HTC, Samsung and others.Google’s Nexus device program has really evolved over time.
The company’s early focus on specs shifted to a focus on value with the likes of the first-generation Nexus 7 tablet and the Nexus 4 smartphone.
There are solid reasons to be drawn to the Nexus 5, Google’s winner of a new handset. The “pure Android” smartphone from South Korea’s LG is thin, screaming fast and, despite weighing just under 4.6 ounces, comfortable to hold.
Camera
The Nexus 5 features an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. The camera itself is pretty fast, allowing you to take snapshot easily. There is a slight pause when taking a shot, but is fast when comparing it to the Lumia 928 for example. The device also does not have a dedicated camera button, but you can hit the volume rocker to take a snapshot.Pros
