The highly anticipated Honda Amaze compact sedan is expected to be launched in the Indian market in the next couple of weeks.
The Honda Amaze will get a choice of three engine options once it will hit Indian soil this September, with the first one being a 1,498cc Earth Dreams with 16-valve and a 5-speed manual transmission, which is good for 100 PS at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm.
The more interesting engine though is the 1.5 litre diesel engine - a first for Honda and on paper, a very impressive motor indeed. With 100PS and 208Nm on tap, the Amaze diesel will power up to 100km/h in about 12.5 seconds.

Petrol variant of Honda Amaze will come with 1.2 litre of petrol mill that could give out 12 to 13kmpl of mileage on the city roads , while on the highways; the mileage figures can go up to 16 to 17kmpl.
Honda Amazediesel will come with dynamic of diesel motor that would promise an impressive fuel economy of 15 to 16kmpl on the city roads and 19 to 20 kmpl.
This Amaze sedan will have power steering and larger boot space of 320 liters.
