Look at the Video How I'll Have Another wins Beats Bodemeister for Derby Win

I’ll Have Another was going to give an anonymous jockey, Mario Gutierrez, one of the most unlikely victories in the 138 runnings of America’s greatest horse race.
A record crowd of 165,307 squeezed into every spare square centimetre of the course.

They are here for the first leg of US racing's Triple Crown, but they are also crammed in for a day at the races unlike any other. From the time the gates opened at 8am until I'll Have Another crossed the winning post at 6.27pm, it was one hell of a party.

Although Bodemeister's effort was courageous, his tired legs couldn't match the powered finished of I'll Have Another, who surged past to seal the roses in the dying stages of the race.

J. Paul Reddam, the horse's owner, named him in honor of his wife's cookies – more specifically, his response every time she asks if he'd like one more cookie. It's optimism combined with satisfaction, and it's exactly what everyone associated with the horse is feeling.
