Ragini Dwivedi will be working on the movie Amma, which is touted to be based on the real-life story of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. On the occassion of 23rd birthday of the actress the makers of Amma has released the first look of the movie. Ragini Dwivedi To Play Tamil Nadu CM .
Connections are being made between Jayalalithaa and Amma. “Right now I
can’t tell you about the character and wouldn’t want to comment on the
fact that people are comparing the film (title) to Jayalalithaa.
Probably, when we start shooting and when the posters are out, people
will know exactly what we are trying to talk about in the film. Of
course, Jayalalithaa is also a strong woman and I think of her as a
complete person. But there are a lot of surprise elements in terms of
the title Amma itself. Whether this film is about Jayalalithaa will only
be revealed at the muhurath of Amma,”says Ragini.
